disability / special needs

Christ Church welcomes people of all abilities. We will do our best to provide any additional help needed by those with disabilities or Special Needs to take part in the activities of our community. Please let us know if there is any way we can help you. Contact Pat (01689 820148)

facilities currently available:

disabled parking: If you have mobility difficulties, please feel free to use the marked spaces beside the hall.

wheelchair access: A ramp is available for wheelchair users/those with pushchairs. Please speak to the “welcomers” at the door if you have need of it.

hearing loop: In the church - set your hearing aid to the “T” position to take advantage of this.

large Print service sheets/notice sheets and other materials can be provided on request. Please speak to a welcomer if you require this facility.

support for children in their groups, according to individual needs.

NB If your child has a special need/disability please speak to the leader of their group, or to our Special Needs Co-ordinator (Sarah Hayward 01689 871075), who will be glad to discuss with you, the best way we can support them.
